Fun in the Fall

This weekend was the first weekend in several weeks that we we haven't had lots of plans.  So we took full advantage of the free time and enjoyed some good ol' fall activities.

First, Noel and Elise painted the smaller pumpkins.

Then they carved pumpkins, with a little help from Dad.
(For the record, this might be one of the best pictures I have of all three of them together.  Everyone is smiling and nobody's eyes are closed!)

We also got to meet up with some friends who used to live in Kokomo.  We had a great time catching up and eating pizza together.

Then on Sunday we did a little bit of early trick-or-treating.  We went to my grandparents' house and then to a couple of houses in my parents' neighborhood.  The kids had a great time, although nobody knew what Noel was.  (I'll try and post pictures tomorrow, but he is a pig from the Angry Birds game).

We ended the night by lighting our jack-o-lanterns and watching them glow in the dark.

Happy Halloween, everyone!!!
